“ This place is the hidden gem you’re looking for!! The building is the original Alton Post Office and it is decorated wonderfully. Looks like an amazing place for an event. Love that it pays homage to important people from Alton’s history. It’s an undeniably cool place, even if you’re just stopping in for a quick cuppa. ”
“ I had the pleasure of providing decorations for a baby shower using the event space and the location was really nice. Nicky was amazing. She was very friendly and helpful from the start to finish. ”
“ I love this vibe and the view. I love the intimacy in a wide open space. I love the food selection and from flavor to presentation, it’s a magical chef creation. I love the tea and herbal options and special lattes. They added more couches and it is much cozier now and has such beautiful views of the river. ”
“ Very charming cafe that offers a diverse selection of teas, coffees, pastries, and sandwiches. I opted for the Avocado Sammie & seasonal peppermint mocha. Both were beautifully crafted, filling, and delicious. The interior of the cafe really captures the essence of the old post office and has a very welcoming space for working solo or dining with friends. I totally recommend. ”
“ This is a great place for brunch! The atmosphere is great, and they have a separate room if you want to rent it for events. This is in an old post office, which adds to the charm! The service was great, but remember you bus your own table. I would definitely be going back for some more brunch! ”
“ Had my wedding here in December 2024 and everything was perfect. The staff were all friendly and very helpful, and the venue is absolutely beautiful! I received comments about how lovely the space is from guests all evening. The building has so many places inside and out to capture stunning photos. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique wedding venue. Delicious coffee and breakfast while you get ready on your big day doesn’t hurt either! ”
“ This is a really unique coffee shop. It's inside of an old post office, and there's plenty of space to sit and enjoy your coffee or food. I got a pistachio cookie butter iced latte. It was really good. ”
“ Fabulous as always!!!! The friendly service upon entering starts your visit off right! The endless drink offerings are very welcome on any day, especially on this cold and snowy one! We enjoyed a dirty chai, hot chocolate, and a peppermint mocha...all hot, flavorful, and soul soothing! The biscuits are just perfect. Flaky and toasty! Cover them in gravy, top them with sausage, avocado, egg, or fry them..just try them! You won't be disappointed. Oh,and lightly spread 'em with sweet pepper jam...great heaven and sweet sugar-fabulous! Biscuits never disappoint! Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time! Explore everything! ”
